E-mail is comfortable, e-mail is fast, e-mail communication is a great thing – if it works! When was the last time you heard someone say “I never got that message” although you know for sure that you had sent the e-mail?

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to send electronic communications as “registered mail with return receipt” like we do with postal mail if we need 100% security? But with most of the Mail Clients (Outlook, Notes, etc.) the user can circumvent the sending of automated e-mail delivery confirmations. With business-critical processes it is not only important to protect the confidentiality of the contents but also indispensable to evidence the successful delivery of the messages. This is for legal and functional reasons.

TOPCALL’s Notification Handling solution solves this problem in a reliable and elegant manner. E-mails and attachments are automatically stored on a protected server when they are sent. The recipient only receives an e-mail with a link to the message. If the recipient follows the link, he/she can download the contents after an optional registration on the server. All processes are recorded. If the message is not downloaded within a predefined period of time, the system informs the sender and automatically escalates the message to the recipient using different channels.

The notification handling is very easy both for the sender and the recipient as the familiar E-mail Client is used. The sender can check the status of the information at any time, the recipient does not need any special software. Nerve-racking tracing of messages and the splitting of larger attachments because of volume restrictions of the recipient’s inbox are a thing of the past.
