Branch Box Solution
TOPCALL 's Branch Box Solution was created for businesses that have a large number of branch offices. The solution creates a multi-national communication solution with all the intelligence maintained centrally. Pre-configured Branch Boxes can be shipped to several destinations and plugged into the head office system (little or no configurations is needed). The distributed solution provides affordable communications across the entire corporate network.
The solution is based on TOPCALL's Single Server Architecture. The Branch Box is a pre-configured box containing fax cards. The boxes are connected to the main server over a robust IP network to form a virtual system that can be run in multiple locations. The intelligence is located at the headquarters and the processing is done locally (the best of both worlds). Through technologies like Least Cost Routing, a company decreases multinational tariffs by sending faxes over the WAN and letting them "breakout" at the nearest Branch Box location. By leveraging the IP network, companies can deploy a single server system for several branch offices, dramatically cutting costs and improving business workflow.
